About Sci-Minds Consulting

Helping parents understand their young children’s development with warmth and expert guidance.

My Journey

For 15 years, I lived inside the rhythm of early childhood classrooms—tiny chairs, big feelings, and the everyday magic of watching children discover who they are. I taught in inclusive settings where every child belonged, where learning was as much about connection as it was about curriculum. I worked with hundreds of young learners and their families, learning just as much from them as they learned from me.

Then, two years ago, I became a mom.

Motherhood softened and sharpened me all at once. It revealed how much parents are expected to simply know—to understand brain development, emotional regulation, language growth—without ever being taught the science behind it. I realized that the knowledge I had spent my career studying wasn’t just for classrooms. It was for families. It was for the quiet moments at home when parents wonder, Is this normal? What does my child need? Am I doing this right?

Now, I help parents see what’s unfolding inside their infant and toddler’s brain—and how to support that growth with calm, grounded, research‑based guidance. This space is rooted in science and lived in real life.
